I am a highly experienced communicator, locally, nationally and internationally, with organisations ranging from start-ups and not for profits to multi nationals. At the heart of what I do is developing and delivering the right message for the right audience, via the right platforms
I have worked across the whole spectrum of marketing and public relations activities, from media relations, crisis management and stakeholder engagement programmes through to event and campaign management and sponsorship strategies.
My career started in newspapers with what was then South West News Service and the Bristol Evening Post. I then moved into consultancy PR where I stayed for 10 years before going in house for the US multi-national Herbalife, where I managed communications for Europe, Middle East and Africa and the, then, doubly challenging subjects of direct selling and weight management. I returned to Bristol ten years ago as a Director of JBP Communications where I am still fortunate to remain as a consultant.
I am currently a Trustee of the Bristol Museums Development Trust and a committee member of The Lord Mayor of Bristol’s Children Appeal
